The certified nursing assistants, specifically Ebony, Yvonne, and Tika are doing an excellent job and they should be commended in some sort of way. I’m grateful to be here, to be receiving good food, good care, my meds managed, and a good roof over my head.

When we were searching for rehab/post acute facilities about 2 months ago, reviews of most places were horrible, including Ivy Park. Insurance dictated available facilities and we had to put our faith in the hands of staff. Thankfully, Ivy Park proved to be an OK place for our loved one. It did come with some hurdles and adjustments but at the end of the stay, we were not unhappy. Were things perfect all the time? No. But with communication and tolerance of the circumstances, everything turned out ok. The food was mostly good, there was no overwhelming odors, the community rooms were enjoyable, security was good and therapy sessions were adequate. Transition out of Ivy Park was also smooth.

My husband and I have visited this place multiple times to see family and its been interesting to see how its changed over the last year. While the building is worn and old its starting to look better the staff have been respectful to us and the management is much more receptive than previous owners. The service on the floor4 has been decent – not sure what all the negative reviews are about. There’s definitely rooom for improvement but you should have seen this place a year ago. Oh and the elevators are fine LOL – just old

The staff does an incredible job rehabilitating patients. The therapists and nurses are well-trained. The place is old and could use some touching up, but the staff is making the most of it. They’ve taken good care of loved ones.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand how challenging it can be to choose a post-acute facility—especially when faced with so many mixed reviews—and we truly appreciate you placing your trust in our team. We’re glad to hear that, overall, your loved one’s stay was a positive one and that key aspects like therapy, food quality, cleanliness, security, and the discharge process met your expectations. It’s also encouraging to hear that communication helped navigate any hurdles along the way, as we strive to partner closely with families to ensure the best possible outcomes. We recognize that no experience is ever perfect, and your honest feedback is valuable in helping us continue to improve. Thank you for sharing this—it really means a lot, especially coming from someone who’s seen the building over time. You’re absolutely right that we’ve been working hard to make improvements, both in how the building looks and, more importantly, in how we show up for residents and families. It’s encouraging to hear that you’ve noticed a difference in the team’s responsiveness and the care. We also appreciate your honesty about there still being room to improve—that’s something we fully agree with and are continuing to work on every day. Thank you again for sharing your experience!
